Osborne Construction called upon to build brand new maintenance free PVC Wolf deck for Little Brown Jug’s patio oasis update. A MUST visit patio/brewery combo if you’re in the downtown area.
This project was exciting venture to be apart of along side SMLXL Contracting and the talented Design Shop Winnipeg. Once a downtown parking lot, this simple patio space became a beautiful hidden oasis with the help of these talented designers and a vision from the owner.
Over the course of a month our crew constructed a multi-level patio featuring Wolf Serenity decking to create a long lasting, maintenance-free option for the Little Brown Jug patio space.

You’ve made the investment, your deck is complete, you now have a beautiful durable WOLF Serenity deck that friends are talking about and is now contributing to the over all enjoyment and quality of your outdoor living space. With that being said, like all things in life, there is always a small responsibility of general maintenance that the consumer assumes to keep their deck looking young.
In short, ROUTINE CLEANING • At least twice per year is highly suggested.
Upon completion of your new WOLF Decking project, Osborne Construction will also provide you with the Care & Maintenance info sheet as a reminder of the general maintenance required. All customers will also be encouraged to to their WOLF Decking project to be registered in order to receive the extended warranty application for any warranty issues in the future.

We couldn’t relate more to this idea as our company completed our own large kitchen renovation in 2022 with two young toddlers under three. Kelly and the team at Greenslade worked closely with us to bring our dated, tiny and very closed off kitchen design to life, complete with a full scale 3D rendering that allowed us to see our project come to life before the Reno’s even begun.

Once we confirmed a design we liked the hard part begun …
One large structural wall needed to come down to make the existing dinning room & kitchen become one large open concept. Along with needing a new beam in place, all major plumbing & heating needed to be relocated. Imagine washing toddler Tupperware and dishes in the bathroom sink and bathtub for months, as mentioned, a major kitchen renovation is an all in project!
Wall removed, and new structural beam installed.Hardwood Floors continued into the kitchen space, mudding & taping almost complete. Cabinet Install Begins Electrical being placed, the kitchen is coming to life. Meeting at Greenslade to discuss final details and countertop selection. Their showroom is incredible and a must see while choosing your Kitchen and/or Bath Renovation experience.

After completing a modern & contemporary re-vamp to the front exterior of their home, the lovely couple of this Charleswood home were ready to upgrade their almost 23 year old wood deck as a refresh to their outdoor living space that would match the feel & aesthetic of their new frontage.
Osborne Construction took the time to meet with the homeowners to discuss their current design and what features and upgrades they were looking to incorporate into their new deck. These homeowners had a very good idea upon meeting with Osborne Construction what they were looking for, from size, materials, and aesthetic features making the scope of the project very clear for Osborne Construction.
Upon solidifying the details of the project & signing a contract, the homeowners were eager to get the project underway with our company.

Starting with the Foundation Work
Osborne Construction removed the existing deck to start the new foundation on a clean slate. On this particular project, the homeowners choose to move forward with the suggested Post Tech Screw Piles.
Post tech screw piles offer a number of advantages over traditional concrete piles, especially in our climate. When building a custom deck for your forever home or making a substantial investment on a low-maintenance PVC or Composite Deck, Osborne Construction will almost always recommend Screw piles over traditional concrete. The Finished Product
Loving the layout & flow of the original design, the homeowners choose to keep their new deck fairly consistent to the original plan with some new accessories; the decking was replaced with a beautiful pressure-treated Barefoot Brown wood which now features a 16 x 10 custom Pergola and a wrap-around stair case. Some may ask, why a Pergola, what’s the point? Pergola’s offer many great benefits, and in this case, it created a beautiful visual aesthetic that not only defines a hosting space on the deck but adds an element that allowed these plant loving homeowners to hang flower baskets.
