This Duradek Vinyl Waterproof Decking project alongside @j.smith.construction was a great way to start our season. With out unseasonably warm temps in February, we were able to get the project completed. This project began with some minor repair to the top floor suite and a safe set of stairs for the fire exit…. or so @j.smith.construction thought. As most roofs with water damage, you never know how bad it is until you get in there. With the roof needing to be replaced entirely, the decision was made to give the renters to this rental property an expanded second story entry way with Regal Aluminum Railing installed by @j.smith.construction and an aesthetically pleasing waterproof low-maintenance Duradeck Vinyl Waterproof Decking surface in Ultra Cork Graphite installed by yours truly. Having a rough idea on the size of your ideal outdoor living-space/custom deck & the layout/design is a start. Think about features and accessories that your considering, the must-have’s and wishes (ex. privacy fence/wall, pergola, lights, railing types, colour(s), wrap around stairs, multi-level, picture-frame etc).
Need some inspiration on style and layout? There are several sources available to help get an idea of what you want. Pinterest, Houzz, the Wolf Pro website, and our gallery of past projects & Instagram accont are all great resources. Keep in mind, Osborne Construction is not a design company so you will need to have a bit of an idea of what you are looking for to help make the consult flow a little easier; having a list of your must-haves and wishes as well as some pictures are a great way to help us get a better understanding for what you envision. Osborne Construction is happy to work alongside hardscape designers and their proposed designs/plans. Not using a designer or hardscape/landscaping company, 3D renderings for large-scale projects are available to Osborne Construction clients that have committed to a quote, rendering agreement and deposit to help visualize and finalize all the little details before construction begins. After all, this is a large investment and we want you to be extremely happy with the final result.

Osborne Construction called upon to build brand new maintenance free PVC Wolf deck for Little Brown Jug’s patio oasis update. A MUST visit patio/brewery combo if you’re in the downtown area.
This project was exciting venture to be apart of along side SMLXL Contracting and the talented Design Shop Winnipeg. Once a downtown parking lot, this simple patio space became a beautiful hidden oasis with the help of these talented designers and a vision from the owner.
Over the course of a month our crew constructed a multi-level patio featuring Wolf Serenity decking to create a long lasting, maintenance-free option for the Little Brown Jug patio space.

You’ve made the investment, your deck is complete, you now have a beautiful durable WOLF Serenity deck that friends are talking about and is now contributing to the over all enjoyment and quality of your outdoor living space. With that being said, like all things in life, there is always a small responsibility of general maintenance that the consumer assumes to keep their deck looking young.
In short, ROUTINE CLEANING • At least twice per year is highly suggested.
Upon completion of your new WOLF Decking project, Osborne Construction will also provide you with the Care & Maintenance info sheet as a reminder of the general maintenance required. All customers will also be encouraged to to their WOLF Decking project to be registered in order to receive the extended warranty application for any warranty issues in the future.

Kelly and the team at Greenslade worked closely with us to bring our dated, tiny and very closed off kitchen design to life, complete with a full scale 3D rendering that allowed us to see our project come to life before the Reno’s even begun.

Once we confirmed a design we liked the hard part begun …
One large structural wall needed to come down to make the existing dinning room & kitchen become one large open concept. Along with needing a new beam in place, all major plumbing & heating needed to be relocated. Imagine washing toddler Tupperware and dishes in the bathroom sink and bathtub for months, as mentioned, a major kitchen renovation is an all in project!
Wall removed, and new structural beam installed.Hardwood Floors continued into the kitchen space, mudding & taping almost complete. Cabinet Install Begins Electrical being placed, the kitchen is coming to life. Meeting at Greenslade to discuss final details and countertop selection. Their showroom is incredible and a must see while choosing your Kitchen and/or Bath Renovation experience.

We can truly say that it has already improved the quality of our life with our two young girls, family & friends.
